Early Life

Wells was born in Columbus, Ohio where she grew up as one of nine children. Her love for basketball started young, as she played on her middle school and high school teams. While at Columbus Northland High School, she helped her team get to the state basketball championship and ultimately win. Her successful high school career made her stand out among other recruits, ultimately landing her at West Virginia University.
