Georgeann Wells played on the West Virginia University Women's basketball team from 1983-1986. At 6 feet and 7 inches tall, she played Center for the team. Wells is known for being the first woman to dunk in a college game. She accomplished this legendary dunk on December 21, 1984 against Charleston during the Mountaineer Christmas Classic. During her career at WVU, she averaged a double double and set several records. Even though she had an amazing basketball career, there is much more to Wells' story.
